Our saucisson from FUMETON are all made by a small producer in Barcelonette, a tiny town in the south of the French alps near Sisteron and Gap.
All the saucisson contain pork meat (even the mutton has some pork necessary for the fat content and flavour). The quality comes not only from the superbly kept free range pork but FUMETON use ham and bacon meat parts only: all of this make the exclusive taste and flavor that attract so much. Even the peel is natural.
This make these saucissons so different from the common industrial ones that are found in supermarket and even in some specialty stores.
The saucisson must be kept in a dry environment: normally in a cellar (the traditional way) or in the vegetable drawer of your refrigerator.
