Fresh Snails (Escargots) in Garlic Butter

These are newly available from The Market Quarter and are perfect as a traditional starter. Juicy wild escargots de bourgogne are prepared with butter, garlic, shallots and parsley in their own shells.

To prepare simply heat (8-12 mins) in the oven at 200-220 degrees C until the butter just starts to bubble. Serve with plenty of bread to dip up the buttery garlic juices.

These snails are fresh not tinned and will remain fresh for 7 days from when we ship them.

As with all fresh products, we receive our snails from France each Wednesday.  To ensure delivery in time for the weekend, please place you order before midnight on Tuesday.  We will ship orders received after midnight Tuesday as soon as possible, but it may be the following Wednesday or Thursday.
