Pâtés and rillettes

The French really know how to make great pâté and The Market Quarter is able to bring you a range of the very best using pork, wild boar, hare, ham and duck.

Served with hot buttered toast or a fresh green salad these pâtés make a delicious starter or lunchtime snack.

Look out for rillettes of duck and goose; made in a similar way to pâté but the meat is shredded to give a particularly appealing texture.
